We now have a clearer idea of how a sedan version of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will appear after it was spied testing at the Nurburgring and as a rendering has been released by Piston Heads user Tuvra of the convertible Black Series. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe was recently introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The rendering shows a new high-performance vehicle that has features that are similar to those of the SLS AMG GT3 customer sports car. It still has the titanium gray 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels while its body was given an anthracite tone to get that ominous look. It’s believed that if Mercedes proceeds to build this radical convertible, it will be equipped with a 6.3-litre V8 AMG engine that has an output of 517 hp and 620 Nm (457 lb.ft.) of torque. It’s expected to be mated to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission.
