The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe was recently introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. More...

A thinly disguised Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake was spotted being tested. These are the first images taken of this model, which is expected to reach the showrooms about a year from now. The CLS Shooting Brake was spied outside Mercedes’ Sindelfingen R&D and production site in Germany. Mercedes-Benz chief Dieter Zetsche has confirmed it for production at Sindelfingen in 2012. It was at the 2010 Beijing motor show that a concept version named ‘Shooting Break’ was introduced. The Shooting Brake takes its inspiration from the traditional custom-built, two-door shooting brake. More...

Using a high-pressure hose to clean the inside of a Honda Element or a Land Rover Defender wouldn’t really make you crazy – however, you’d have to be insane to take a power hose and start washing the interior of your brand new 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS 350. More...

Mercedes-Benz has signed a 10-year agreement to acquire naming rights to the Louisiana Superdome, which is home of the NFL's New Orleans Saints and the venue for as many as a record-breaking six Super Bowl games. This sponsorship deal actually began as part of small talk during a dealer meeting in Stuttgart, Germany. But now, the New Orleans' landmark sports stadium has been renamed as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Tom Benson, the owner of Mercedes-Benz dealerships in New Orleans and San Antonio, owns the football team. More...

Auto Express reported that the AMG performance division of Mercedes-Benz is developing a high-performance, top-of-the-line SLS Black Series model. When AMG performance director Christoph Jung attended the launch of the new SLS Roadster last week, he told reporters that the company is “certainly thinking” about creating a model that is positioned between the SLS GT3 and the road car. He said that the GT3 racing car features a 600bhp version of the standard SLS’s 6.3-litre V8 engine, which goes together with an aerodynamically enhanced exterior and stripped-out cabin. This means that a roadgoing version would deserve the Black Series badge, which is typically used only for the quickest and most powerful AMG models. More...

Due to money issues, the rumored partnership between Aston Martin and Maybach is not happening, according to sources. A few months ago, it was reported that these two luxury brands would be sharing platforms and technology. If this agreement had pushed through, Aston Martin would have produced the next generation models of the Maybach 57 and 62 and it could have had access to Mercedes-Benz‘s hybrid technology and the 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 as well as platforms for the 2012 M-Class and 2013 S-class.
